UTEP vs NMSU basketball series

With last nights loss, UTEP is 5-10 vs NMSU (33%) under Tim Floyd. How does that stack up against the previous 3 coaches?

Barbee - 5-3 63% No sweeps by NMSU
Sadler - 4-0 100% No wins by NMSU
Gillispie - 2-2 50% 1 sweep by NMSU

Floyd has been swept by NMSU 3 times and might be swept a 4th time. He has also only swept NMSU once in 8 years, while the previous 3 swept him 4 times in 8 years and won 11 games compared to Floyd's 5.

Gillispie had the really awful team in 02-03 or else his record would probably be better against the Aggies too.

Tim Floyd sucks and that is a FACT.

What's your definition of fast? Doubt it happens before March. Don't think it would make much a difference this season anyway. Maybe announce he will not be coming back next year before the last home game and pop a big crowd.

We just have to be patient because we are going to be stuck with Floyd for the rest of the season . But Floyd’s seat is going to get very hot starting on Dec 15 (Senters first day on the job). CUSA regular season championships and NCAA appearances are those only things that are going to save Floyd’s job with Senter here. Senter isn’t going to give a crap about how long it took Kermit Davis to get things going at MTSU or what promising freshman we have on the roster. Just be patient because change is coming but it’s not going to happen during the season.

The way to avoid the truth if you disagree with it, is just pretend that it does not exist, and don't talk about it. (Perfect CNN policy) Yet, when Floyd wins a game he shouldn't win (of course this will be extremely rare), then the quiet ones will come out and start 10 threads.
The only way to force change is to beat a dead horse, get loud and not pretend it does not exist. Otherwise you are bending over and they believe you are enjoying it.

Floyds contract is easily found using Google. Base pay of $250k, coach shows $200k, season ticket share of $150k. Also language in the contract says UTEP can terminate without cause with 90 days notice and UTEP only owes him his insurance for the remainder of the contract period. Also found an item from 2014 that kvia had saying "last year", 2013, UTEP extended Floyd's contract for 5 years. It may be ending in 2018 unless Stull snuck in another extension. Also lots of incentives built into the contract for conference championships, NIT and NCAA appearances and more for wins, etc.

Talk about idiot owners. Most likely the worst in the NFL. They have looked like Floyd has been coaching them ever since. And this explains exactly why you don't want Floyd out because you are happy with the state of the 49ers, so you would be happy with the same thing here.
