UTEP's 2 top FB recruits from 2016 not on roster

What happened to Antonio Dupree and Keith Sullivan, both 3 star recruits last year and supposedly gray shirts that now should be on the roster? Awatt is there but not Dupree or Sullivan.

Sometimes it takes a Gray Shirt more than one semester to get eligible. Last year Greg Long, Chris Barnwell, and Denzel Chuckwukelu were 3 examples of Gray Shirts who were not eligible for Spring Ball either, yet they later became eligible after the Spring Semester and before the season started. Sullivan, Dupree, and Pickney will hopefully still become eligible before next season, just not in time for this Spring Semester.
The good news is that Kugler previously confirmed that all 3 were on campus and based on our perfect APR scores, UTEP appears to have an elite athlete academic support system helping them get eligible.

Right here in little ol Texas there are two FBS programs that are complete opposites on how knowing what to do and what not to do: UTEP & Baylor and only one will be lucky to win 3 or 4 games next year. Makes you want to pour a neat glass of JW and look up at the stars and ponder the cosmic inequity of it all and the purpose.

Both are listed on the student roster.

Glad to hear both are still in school. Hopefully they will be eligible for fall practice. Too bad they will miss spring football since that would really help them and the team.

I really hope Kugler can have a winning season since he apparently has a very solid academic program going for his players and also a good character team. Would be great to marry all that to a winning team as well.
