I couldn't help but thinking of our game in Fullerton. Probably our last victory of any importance (at least out of conference). Blueitt, Macura, and O'Mara played for Xavier. Omega and Matt played for UTEP. Xavier is playing Villanova for a 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, while we're fighting Rice for the 12th seed in the CUSA Tournament.
Two things that came to mind. That game happened three and a half years ago. It feels like a decade ago. Two, who would have thought back then that that was the high water mark of Floyd's tenure here?
