Is this speculation or insider information? Nebraska is an elite VB school. I don't see them hiring our coach. Our coach will likely be headed to a low to mid tier P4 if and when he leaves. Could you imagine Walden having 2 respectable years and 1 good season, then getting hired by Ohio St? Maybe I don't know volleyball as well as others but I don't see this happening. If anything, Wallis might replace the coach that ends up getting the Nebraska job at his/her previous school.

Yep. We won’t lose Wallis to Nebraska but we will lose him in a coaching carousel. He and his wife went to NMSU and he’s been a coach in NM/EP for pretty much his entire career, but a call from a low/mid tier B10 or west coast program would be tough to turn down. Heck, an SEC school may just throw money at him.
