A little bit right now Utep is at 990 . Now Utep is competing with the power conferences but they still in the bottom. George St and FAU are the top non power schools. Their up in the 1100s and higher. For example Ohio State is number 1 and they have around 3500 points rating. Utep is ranked 67 in the nation at 990. Well this is Rivals rating , 247 hasn't updated Uteps commits.

I agree with you guys 100%. I think she’s too far left for a lot of people. But… they do make a point that she’s steaming all the time now and she has tons of followers.

It's why I still have hope with Walden. He's a questionable game day coach, but hopefully he can learn from his mistakes. He will be able to bring the talent to El paso.

Considering UTEP lost many players via graduation and the transfer portal, this team could easily be 5 - 5. We’ve lost some close games that we should have won. We’ve also had some injuries to key players, This team is young and still fighting. We need to address our special teams issues and lack of offensive production. I like what i saw in Locklear’s performance against KSU. I know it was a bad team, but he seems to be improving. Let’s see what McConnell can do next year, if he comes back. We have two good freshman QBs who got playing time. Who knows, we might be able to pick up a proven QB in the transfer portal. Walden brought in the top recruiting class in CUSA last year. Let’s see if he can repeat that this year. We’ve seen some true freshman make an immediate impact. If we’re able to keep most of these guys and bring in another top recruiting class, along with some key transfers, we should be looking at a winning record next year.

I almost went with smu but not old enough to really remember those days. I went with UTSA. They stole our colors, our hand signal, our font (I think) and started way behind us only to find success and surpass us.
