Another democrat lying thru his teeth. You won't need a birth certificate or passport to vote.
Another lean right, great conservative idea is disenfranchising people they don't want to vote.
Agree. I will add that these athletes generate exponentially more revenue than baseball minor leagues, and have for many years. In my opinion, something had to be done.Agree. Do away with the pretense. They're minor league players now. Schools that can pay more will get the better players. It is what it is.
They are donors, I like what UTEP is doing here...Does anybody know who these people are?
1. Maybe you don't let 18-22 year olds make the rules
2. Maybe you don't let the schools with the deepest pockets make the rules.
Honestly IDK why there is an NCAA anymore. Why bother with the pretense that there is some independent governing body?
Why pretend that these are student athletes?
I'm not just sick of the debacle that is UTEP athletics, I'm sick of what college sports has become. College sports in general is losing my interest.
When will we see a winning season?
As if Wilson gives any care about athletics. Give me a break.Yes and no. One thing Mike Price stated was that you build your program by having an open door to the alumni players. OU was really big on this for years as was Texas. Now, they are so competitive they have closed Spring Scrimmages. Washington coach went public saying open spring games are important.

Walden is open to alumni and I'm glad to see Wilson being active.

Do other schools do this?
I think most people lean with conservative ideas, not necessarily republicans
