I hope the 3rd party contractor that sells season tickets for UTEP is ready for an influx of calls! Once this article is read, phone lines are gonna be jammed with ticket buyers!Malachi Nelson, Jaden Rashada stand as cautionary tales for ultra-hyped QBs who fall into transfer portal trap
Figuratively speaking, Nelson is about as far from USC as humanly possible after two yearswww.cbssports.com
Oh I'm POSITIVE they are focused on football, however, they expect to be good in hoops too. Honeymoon period is over for Terry.I don’t think Texas fans care at all about basketball right now. Everyone is more concerned with the semis on Friday.
Do you think Texas fans care? They are in a very tough stretch of their schedule. I can see them losing 4 of next 5. I can be wrong, but I don't see Terry back next year.Auburn is the #1 team in the country.
Not sure about either but looks like the 2 backs they just picked up could help. The other one was north Texas leading rusher and second team all ACCI do believe Jolly is in the Portal and Jackson is now at UAB.
I'm pretty sure we lostHell yeah! One of UTEP’s memorable championship runs. It’s a shame UTEP doesn’t have a banner to commemorate it. Maybe we should start up a collecta to have one made.
Bynum seems to be prone to foul trouble and has fouled out in some games. Golding might be keeping him on the bench to have at the end of games. But, there have been times when he could have been in games at the end but wasn't. So, I dunno!I’ll say 12-6 or better if Golding plays Bynum more than he is now, otherwise it could be 9-9.
Conference realignment makes little to no sense when you look at where schools are going. It sounds like money is the deciding factor.I think having NIU on the MWC side, kinda tilts it in favor of the MWC. It definitely won’t have the gap they currently do.
I listened to the NIU press conference and they kept mentioning the House settlement and NIL as reasons why they joined the MWC. I would guess they believe the MWC will be financially better off than staying in the MAC.
From a fan perspective it kind of stinks. There’s no drivable conference games anymore, but I don’t believe there were that many fans making those trips to begin with. When they play at Hawaii, game will start about 11pm local time and end after 2am.
I think having NIU on the MWC side, kinda tilts it in favor of the MWC. It definitely won’t have the gap they currently do.In all seriousness, with all the departures, I don't think the MWC is better than the MAC in football. They are a step up in basketball, but NIU isn't joining in basketball. Maybe there really is something to that comment about the students being able to study on the plane, because it doesn't make much sense to me otherwise.
Or it pisses on the opposing team's field/court.You know what they say. It's not a real rivalry until someone gets shot.
