Basketball starts today!

The average Mongolian professional basketball player in the Mongolia Basketball League (MNBA) makes between $2,000 and $4,000 per month. However, the best players can earn up to $14,000 per month when bonuses and incentives are included.

In addition to salary, overseas basketball players may also receive other compensation, such as:
• Stipend: Some teams pay players a stipend of $500–$3,000 one to three times per season.
• Pay per game: Players may receive $50–$400 per game played.
• Sales pay: Players may receive a percentage of sales, which can range from 5–50%.
• Housing: Players may receive housing or other perks.

Mongolia is a 3x3 basketball powerhouse, ranked 9th globally and 2nd in Asia by the International Basketball Federation. The women's team even qualified for the previous Olympic games.

I thought Tae went to the Australian League. Didn't a ex miner went to the Australian League?

I’d be happy making four figures a month to play professionally the sport I love.
$4,000 a month is only $48,000 a year and that’s only if those guys are getting paid 12 months a year. If you have a family or want to provide for one in the future, it’s not much really. Plus you’re living in Mongolia.

On the other hand, if he's a single guy, why not go have that experience for a few years? Cost of living in Mongolia is over 50% lower than in the US. Housing is 65% lower. Considering housing takes the biggest chunk of our change, that's actually pretty decent money. Plus, he could possibly work his way into a better, higher paying league with some success. It is Mongolia, however.

Considering the average salary in Mongolia is $436 a month sounds like making 4k a month means a luxurious lifestyle. I’ll still take it.

He would still make more than you.

$4,000 a month in Mongolia is being in the one percent. 🤡

I mean even in the United States $48,000 is good for most places.
48k in the U.S is pretty much poverty. If a man is with a family is making that and is the only income. The wife would have to be making pretty much the same amount. If he is single then that should be enough.

Can we just let it go?? I didn't call the Utep Dance team ugly. I just asked if Stevie Wonder picked the team . Daminer is the one who called them ugly, he said Utep dance team isn't a beauty contest . That was low. 😎😎😎

Again, do you have a point? I don't think you do.

You have no clue what you're talking about.
Well it's considered lower middle class. Someone making 40k in El Paso isn't living on the Westside of El Paso. A family of 4 to live comfortably should be around 100k.

Lower middle class isn't poverty. It's far from it.

You think every house on the Westside is expensive?

Il just say I make enough to live in Phoenix. Phoenix is one of the most expensive cities in America. To live comfortably in Phoenix you have to make around 55 to 60k. To live in Scottsdale you have to make around 90 to 100k. If you want to live in the ghetto 40 k you will be living in the Westside.
