Sounds like UT is going to release Strong at the end of the season.......Should UTEP even try to hire him?

I think it's funny when people think we can get a coach like that.... Should we ask? Of course! But is there any chance he comes probably not!!

The only way we stand a chance of landing a coach like Strong is if they they have baggage from doing something stupid. Strong is a class act with no baggage.

Strong is a darn good coach. He finally demoted Vance Bedford their DC, and I think this move may save his job. This was Strong's worst hires when he got to UT. I loved it when Strong made him sit in front of the media firing squad to take questions after the OK State loss because Bedford hates talking to the media and sometimes made his own players go do it.

He'll probably end up somewhere in the state of Florida, where he still has strong recruiting ties.
