Alabama v La Tech could potentially be a trap game for La Tech if both have a good season.
If Alabama wins, the NCAA will see it as an early quality win against an Olympian led mid major team; however, on the flip side a La Tech loss is a "you gotta beat the big boys to get in". These P5 games have basically been mandated by the NCAA committee for a team to get an "at large". A loss by 'bama to a La Tech (or any mid major), but a good SEC in conference season will get them in but not vice versa.
