College Football 2021- Post Covid Edition

Yep. When I see a team go for it on 4th down in their territory with 10 minutes left in the third quarter, I automatically think Dana Dimel.

It actually does. If Georgia beats Alabama, there’s a chance the committee sneaks the Irish ahead of them.
You’re right. There is that.

Wait, you’re saying sneaks ND in ahead of Bama, right? Not Cinci. Bama with two losses isn’t getting in.

Now if Bama beats Georgia…

That's why I wanted OK St. to win, it gives no chance for Notre Dame unless Cincy loses.

Also, they have to expand this bitch to 16 teams.

My dad was born in Indiana and grew up in Cincinnati. My grandfather graduated from Purdue. I grew up a REDS fan and have always followed Purdue sports. I think I might start paying more attention to the Bearcats football and basketball.

An OK st win would have probably allowed them to jump Cincinnati. A loss was better.

They we’ll be complaining about the #17, 18, 19 & 20 teams that didn’t make the playoffs. Might as well field a 68-team tournament while we’re at it.

If Bama beats the Dogs, it would be Cincy assuming they win (sorry Cougs), Michigan (No chance they lose to Iowa, right?), and Bama and Georgia

If Georgia wins Notre Dame will get preferential treatment over Baylor. And Bama out of course. IMO

Georgia is in win or lose. Michigan maybe out if they lose. Bama and Cincy are definitely out with a loss. Notre Dame still very much alive. Baylor has no chance getting in.

Agree with all that. However only difference, I think Michigan is for certain out with a loss.

So looking at the current CFP rankings, if football Armageddon occurs, and Michigan, Bama, and Cincy all lose, I can see Baylor as the Big 12 champs sneaking into the playoffs.
Georgia, Baylor, Notre Dame, and who else? Utah?

I guess it would have to be Michigan still. I can’t put Ohio State above them. Oklahoma State gets a reprieve? It could be total chaos tomorrow.

Definitely not Utah, nor a potential Iowa Big Ten champ or the ACC Champ either Pitt or Wake Forest.
