This is his team now. Reading through the comments here and on twitter a lot of people are accepting of this defeat. Yea let’s give him some slack for the mess Kugler left. We were only suppose to lose by a TD according to the odds makers not by three. I suppose we can’t expect many W’s for the next 2/3 years and that’s assuming we made a good hire.

This would have been much easier to swallow if this were and fbs team. A loss at home by 20 to an fcs squad is hard to swallow. Kugler lost the team amid his own personal problems at the end. He should have been fired after the 2016 season. However, even his teams beat fcs squads. There is no reason to ever lose to an fcs squad especially by 20. I think they averaged 240 across the d-line. It was ugly and the penalties out of timeouts were just inexcusable. Very poorly coached first game.im interested to see how they respond next week.

Ok ..then in that case; I'd say "zero". Saw no indication of any improvement in any category.
