Dimel is paid hundreds of thousands of dollars and is a grown ass man, and UTEP employs the coaches. Not the same as trashing the “student athletes”.

You are completely misunderstanding Corona's post. He is not justifying anyone bashing Hankins. He is responding to this post:

Right. The days of these guys staying 4 years are gone. Slim chance many of them do.

I was watching some basketball game the other day, might have been on ESPN and one of the studio guys said he talked to a coach that was “done recruiting high school players” and would be focusing on transfer portal players. Hard to do that in football, but shows how the way of thinking might be changing.

I saw a game with Florida and the announcer said that every starter that night for Florida was a player that just transferred in that year.
