The current coach of Sam Houston St, KC Keeler wouldn't be a bad hire.
Bob Stull is an incompetent idiot. Name one good thing he has done the last 5-10 years. If he were in charge of a real athletic program and worked for a college president with any athletic standards his ass would of been fired long ago. This buffoon had no reason to hire Kugler then hastily extend Kugler's contract only after two years. He should have waited to see Kugler's entire body of work as head coach before offering an extension, just like NMSU is doing with Martin. I honestly suspect Stull extended Kugler's contract solely based on their friendship. THIS CRAP ONLY SEEMS TO HAPPEN AT UTEP. GOOD RIDDANCE NATALICIO, STULL, KUGLER, AND FLOYD!

This is the crap we can expect as miner fans when Stull's good ol boy approach is implemented when hiring a head football coach. Instead of hiring a head coach with proven track record, he hires an offensive line coach who is a close friend. If Stull were the head of a major corporation he would have been fired long ago or the corporation would be in bankruptcy.
Tulane had the good sense to hire Fritz. Stull opted to hire Kugler instead Fritz despite Fritz's interest in the UTEP head coaching job after Price retired. Unbelievable.
