Yes it is! 6 games this month with 4 at home. Tuesday we'll welcome a cupcake, Western New Mexico at the Don. Then we jump into the fire at NMSU on Saturday.
Details please I am definitely wanting to watch some Utep Basketball Games this year! It’s time for my annual, buy CUSA.tv subscription. I recommend it for other out of towners.
I’d hold off on calling them a cupcake until we see what our team is like. I seem to recall Eastern New Mexico beating Utep at the beginning of the season some years backYes it is! 6 games this month with 4 at home. https://conferenceusa.com/watch/purchase.aspx#register It’s $10.95 a month, well worth the price… and can cancel easy via website. I usually keep it for 4 months
May I ask why? I was considering itI purchased the C-USA stream a couple of years ago and it was absolutely AWFUL. Won't buy it again.
Well worth the price? ESPN+ gives a lot more content for $4 less. Better get used to it, probably the only way to watch CUSA teams in 2023!https://conferenceusa.com/watch/purchase.aspx#register It’s $10.95 a month, well worth the price… and can cancel easy via website. Help a brother understand something. For the game at NMSU on Nov 13th, the aggie web site says it's on ESPN+. But the UTEP athletics site doesn't say anything about a stream. If it's on ESPN+ then I'm a happy camper!
Could ESPN+ block it depending on region?
Man that’s frustrating. Well you just saved me a couple bucksThe stream was choppy and ghosted for large portions of the broadcast. I just didn't enjoy it much. But as I said, it's been a couple of years so maybe they've fixed it but I'm not going to buy it again quite yet. I'll wait until I hear glowing reviews on here about their service.
Also, I had paid a little over $100 for the year and with the streaming issues and half (or so) of the games being on other streaming services I just felt it wasn't worth the cost. At $10.95/mo it still seems over priced.
That's exactly what I do every year. I think it's Teicher doing the home games. For $11 a month to watch a few games is worth it imo. That's about the price for one ticket. If you live out of town and you can't attend the games then that's the way to go. After basketball season is over cancel the subscription. Unless you like watching Olympic sports. Then keep it.
Same as me. This year in November and December you'll watch 8 games. That's 2.75 per game. In January there's 6 games that's 1.83 per game. In February there's only 3 games but still comes out to 3.66 per game. There's no games in March so no point in buying the subscription in that month or until next November. That's exactly what I do every year. I think it's Teicher doing the home games.
The media was hyping up Terry and his recruiting the first year or two. UTEP was getting good pub from basketball gurus. Terry let them down.Check out: https://krod.com/utep-mens-basketball-2021-22-mega-season-preview/
Finally a nice write up on the Miners. Interesting how UTEP as a brand is way down from previous (and great honesty from coach).
I'm signed up. I went to Miner Athletics and they have filled out the Watch Section of the schedule. Every game (except maybe 2) have streaming options now. It's either ESPN+ or Miner TV although Stadium pops up occasionally. It’s improved over the years, the ending the games early was so annoying! Like what was stated above, if you are out of town. It’s the only way we can watch these games, choppy or not. It’s worth the money IMO. Hopefully UTEP gets a cut or most of it lol how many sign up? Me and what 10 others total 😂
Listen to him on the UTEP miners app or here. There will be a lag between the radio and the tv of about 5-8 secondsI'm signed up. I prefer MinerTV if Teich is calling the game, even if there are a few weird things in the broadcast. I haven't figured how to sync Teich with an ESPN+ broadcast. Any suggestions?
Yes, I understand that. But, someone on this board mentioned a way to delay the video using an app or computer program. I wish I could find that post.Listen to him on the UTEP miners app or here. There will be a lag between the radio and the tv of about 5-8 seconds
