I've always hated fades. Low probability of success, and it helps to have a tall receive who can out leap his defender and make a play. We didn't have that, and no surprise that it didn't work

If you include Smith's drop we've had six scoring opportunities to their two. Yet we're down at the half. We have to do a better job of taking advantage of our opportunities.
All of UTEP's issues are self inflicted. Bad snap on the 1. Missed FG. Dropped TD. I'm ok with the Final series. Everyone knew UTEP had to take 3 shots into the end zone. It was cheap points so you take it.
Would have been nice to have another timeout there. May have been able to sneak in a run. Then again, we haven't shown any running game, which says alot with how the offense is geared around Hardison. It will be tough winning being one dimensional. Kind of weird saying it with a Dimel offense.
