Actually the blind followers are the ones that damage the team the most. There is no accountability, and mediocrity is the norm. Floyd can do no wrong and how dare anyone question anything he does. After all he is the UTEP coach and who cares if he has never made the tournament in his 7 years in a crappy league. They would be satisfied with another 7.

Here is my big question: What would it take for you to agree that Floyd is not the end all and needs to be replaced? I really want to know because I don't think you have an answer. I think your posts are dismissed because you are perfectly fine with what is going on, and really don't care as long as everyone cheers and is satisfied as yourself.

That's utter bullshit and if it takes a fan like me to hold you a-holes "accountable", well, someone has to do it. I would like to repeat, reiterate and say it again, "Where is Kelvin and why doesn't he step up and be a man?" All of the opinions expressed on this post seem to have developed into "Do you support or not support Coach?". Those that don't support him or those that do have forgotten the question. If Kelvin would simply publicly state his reason for his sudden and mysterious departure, I think we would have our answer. The Floyd haters would then know if this is on Floyd or Kelvin.

Dad doesn't like El Paso and thinks his son should be staring alongside or backing up Wilms. It's obvious as hell a lot of time and energy is being spent on Thomas to develop. The staff admits it from time to time on the radio. It's not like it some defense department top secret thing. Now if you were Jones' dad how would you feel after two years of hearing this? Jones is in no way getting ignored but he has way more upside than Thomas because Jones is a fearless player, Thomas is not. Thomas's progression has been a series of high lows and Jones just keeps getting stronger and better (we as fans see it with our own eyes) but yet Floyd goes on the radio saying "he is new to the game", "is a work in progress" etc, etc.. The assistants can give you a chronological breakdown of Thomas's development. I heard one of CTF assistants say after a post game interview that he went up to Thomas father after that particular game and personally asked him "I hope you don't think we're pushing him to hard..."

I personally feel Mr Jones said "to heck with it son lets go elsewhere".

The reason is simple, deflection is the best answer. Holding accountable the fans that complain and not the Coach that has never made a tournament nor won one of the worst conferences is the simple way to do it. Your bitching at the team is equivalent to third grade math. You have never said anything critical of Floyd once, and again it is the posters fault. Your body of work quote is classic because you relate it to the Miner posters, but not to Floyd's body of work. I wish you were my boss, because I always know I could underachieve, never hit my quota, and then blame it on the customers, and you would just pat me on the back.
