Caldo de Res #18, Cathedral High; El Paso. Kid was a unknown recruit and was going to walk on at Highlands in Las Vegas, NM until one of the UTEP assistants saw him at the senior bowl in El Paso and made an offer.

Feed him the ball all day against La Tech. They'll shit in their pants all through the game.

I don't get Kugler's line of thinking here. Starting a well known Mexican Stew at RB is really high risk, high reward. If he wins he is going to turn a lot of heads (and a few stomachs) and this could lead us into a new era of UTEP football were we could see a Tres Leches cake at wide out, Ceveche at center and a mean all Burrito defensive front. Now, if he loses, well he will be forever known a coach who tried a really strange experiment with food and football and failed.
