Anyone else getting an uneasy feeling, seeing as how he's not playing 2 games into the season?

I think we need this kid. He'll be key to the success of this season

I don't think we were expecting to see him until December anyways after his surgery. As for the eligibility issue, who knows. It's the NCAA. Remember, their mission is to ruin college sports. The thing that worries me is that Floyd wasn't really sounding all that optimistic about it.

So, since he wouldn't be an initial qualifier, he would have to go the JC route, correct? If so, that's another dumb rule. If he has to sit a year, fine. But, why make athletes do that if they're admitted to the university? Let them have a year to show they can hack it in a college classroom.

On the pre game show, Floyd stated again it's being appealed and hope commen sense prevails. Said it was only one class that was being questioned. On the post game, Johnson sounded more optimistic, talking about when they get Mac into the rotation. My question is, would UTEP go the UCF route and sue to lift the ineligible status?
