Demps wasnt a popular player for the Giants. He got beat a lot. Kris Adams was also Giant for very brief time until he got hurt.

Back in the day, UTEP coaches did nothing to stop fights on the field, especially during spring training when we we had limited time to prepare for the upcoming opponent on Saturday.
In fact, coaches had their own ways of encouraging an occasional dust-up, to squirt life into an otherwise drab practice.
