Looks like he didn't make the cut after five years so he was shown the door. Even mid majors can demand NCAA tourneys or bust. Floyd needs to coach with every ounce of energy he has and bring back a CUSA tournament championship!

What are you trying to say about Floyd? Are you some kind of under cover NMSU lover? Floyd doesn't have to do nothing if he doesn't feel like it!

Well the guy did lead his team to a 9-22 season this year which when added to zero ncaa trips is pretty bad. I'm not a huge Floyd fan but your comparison doesn't hold much water.

Agreed. If Floyd led us to a 9-22 record he would probably be let go as well...

Floyd will never get fired, (sans pictures of him and Natalicio doing the dirty on center court get out) so don't get your hopes up . Floyd is an above average coach , just hasn't seem to put it together here in the mighty CUSA (minus Memphis) hopefully they win the tournament . UTEP in the tourney where they belong, where many if not all of it's fans think is where they belong . Hope it starts today .
