This incident could have been far worse.
Get rid of the aluminum bats before someone gets severely injured or worse.

I completely agree. Aluminum bats has been an ongoing issue for a lot of years in collge, and high school, baseball. An even bigger concern is the "comebacker" to the pitcher. The ball has been clocked at over 120 MPH off aluminum bats. That's way too dangerous.
