He is such a good boy that he requires taxpayers to front his bill for 6 bodyguards at all times. Why the F does the mayor of El Paso require that amount of security? I sat next to him at the Sun Bowl in the club level and even the Mayor of Juarez didn't have that level of security.
He's a car salesman. He obviously needs tight security....
I'm not a fan of Leeser, but what makes you think the taxpayers are paying for his bodyguards?
What makes you think he is coming out of pocket for the security? He has admitted verbally to me several times he loves being mayor for the publicity and that is what drove him to run for Mayor this last time around.
I dont. I would say that tax paying security for a mayor is a pretty normal thing (like it or not). That's the point.
EP Mayor is a figurehead position and their primary responsibility is to be tie breaker for city council votes. The City Manager holds most of the power
