Technically that is true. But if Louisville City hadn’t messed up Jonathan Gomez’ contract, he would have gone for more.
Do you know if Diego Luna goes onto Europe with a Transfer Fee, will El Paso Locomotive get part of that fee as well?
They will not unless that was something they added in the transfer agreement. I only saw the $250k fee, but didn’t look at it to see if there was a sell on clause. However, San Jose would because he was originally their academy product.
If some Locomotive academy player ended up playing in MLS or Europe and was transferred, then Locomotive would receive money for all transfers involving the player.
