“El Paso's first interactive aquarium is planned for Sunland Park Mall next year.”

Netflix series filmed in El Paso
Binged the entire season and it kept me entertained. Some nice cars found and restored.

Heard Scooter last week with Buzz and seemed like the same good dude on the show as he was during the interview!

The sales guy looks like the lead singer of Rascal Flatts.

Hope it gets picked up for another season.

Binged the entire series as well. Very well done. Showed the city extremely well. Even Juarez looked great.

I liked that they showcased some local businesses.

Some things to consider on the show. It is casting. Many of the cast are not from here. The shop isn’t a real business in El Paso. The show’s characters have successful businesses in other cities and have been on other reality tv shows before. Not all the buyers were local and were flown in.

Overall, it was a great concept and would be awesome if it were given another season.

Haven't watched it yet but the guy who had the Bronco built is a local physician

Pretty sad that the upcoming Blue Beetle film will take place in made-up Palmera City instead of El Paso like the comic. Apparently they did "some" filming in El Paso, though.

Yes he is. That Bronco was pretty awesome.

The guy that bought the Porsche was a friend of Mike Coy and flown in from Dallas. But doesn’t take away from the fact that I really enjoyed the show but there is an element of made for tv.

For example, getting pulled over by the Federalies. Not sure if I believe that one.

That guy "Scooter" was a camera guy for one of the local news stations many Sundays ago. Good guy, very personable, struck me as a jack of all trades guy. I have no doubt he has contacts throughout the Borderland.

Two guys from El Paso. Plus everything outside the cast. It really shows El Paso in a positive light. Super happy for that I have no doubt Scooter had a lot to do with it.
They said only one was a local. Where are you getting 2 ??

Damn. Can’t believe I’m saying this but agree with Fili. So cheesy and ill produced. If it weren’t for my home town, I wouldn’t keep watching. Rabbit is a douche. And the dialogue is awful.
So, some of you give the play by play at games. This is my play by play watching this show. It’s bad. It sucks.

A new Hooters in east El Paso? No word from city or Hooters, Inc. (Sorry, couldn’t help it).

What's the difference?
Atmosphere and food are better. The beer is ice cold. Many more TVs and the centrally located bar makes for more viewing pleasure. Plus the way the waitresses dress (more lingerie style) is much more appealing IMO.
