Despite Guadalajara having the Jalisco and Akron Stadiums they're building an 20,000 capacity arena, and San Luis Potosi wants to build a 10,000 capacity arena. But El Paso has canceled its arena.

Meanwhile city council is busy talking about peoples' mental health when discussing increasing crime on the east side. What a waste of time....

El Paso has built 5 small water parks throughout the city. How much did that cost?? You tell me they couldn't just build one big waterpark and put restaurants and entertainment around it ??
Great Wolf Lodge pulled out weeks into the COVID 19 pandemic. So there was going to be “one big waterpark”.

I wouldn’t worry about the 5 water parks and worry more about whatever Phoenix is doing.

Do you have a answer?? Is it private land or something??
Some of the land near that area has unexploded ordnance, for one thing. Much of the land in the vicinity of the mountains is controlled by Fort Bliss and Castner Range was made a national monument. The actual Trans Mountain Road cuts through the Franklin Mountains State Park. None of that land is open for development.

Don’t know what part of Transmountain you are talking about, East side belongs to Fort Bliss, the mountains are a state park. There are homes being built on the west side.
Those water parks are regional parks geared towards young families.
I'm talking about the one that goes through the mountain. It's a shame they cant build a restaurant or hotel there.

El Paso should kick Fort Bliss out.
