I just realized that some credit is due to Dimel and his offense. In 3.5+ years of watching Dimel's teams this is the first time I've seen them get the ball with less than a minute in a half, play with a sense of urgency, call timeouts correctly, and score. Of course otherwise we're still down 3 scores at the half, but that last minute drive was well executed.
Dubs are temporary, swag is forever homie.
Still, dubs are what matter to fans. Fans don't remember swag. Fans remember dubs.
Horrible even if Cowing could have caught that it wouldn't have been a TD. Again we have Horrible play calling in the red zone

Rag arm QB lobbing up passes. It seems like the dude just throws it up high…their wideouts stop their route and make a play for the ball all before our DBs get their head around…
It’s a bit of both. UTSA is a much better team than us and UTEP’s wins have been from bad teams.

Every big game, they always wet the bed. Not even competitive, UTSA is obviously good. Goes to show UTEP has a long way to go.
If we had scored on that opening drive and then held them on D I would have continued watching with the hope that we could turn this around. However we blew our chance on offense and our D gave up a 95+ yard TD drive. Victory was already practically impossible, now it's totally impossible. There is absolutely no way that we come back from down 4 scores. Good night.
These guys have had a great season, but this type of loss late in the season has the potential to hurt this team as they try to close the season out.
No matter how bad our guys really are, they don't hurt the quality of Buc-ees beef jerky. Goes good with beer and tequila. Yum.
What was the crowd? And if it was over 30,000 it'll be half that for next home game after this total bed wetting.
It was wishful thinking the Miners we’re gonna win but UTEP blew a chance to turn around people today. A lot of people gave up watching Canelo become undisputed champ to watch the Miners get smoked.
On a side note, Canelo knocked out Plant in the 11th round. Canelo again shows he’s the best pound for pound in the world!
Anyone who thinks we deserve to be in the MWC please reference this game as reasons A-Z why they will not take us.
Anyone who thinks more people at the game and more expensive tickets would have made a difference in this game are just as mistaken.
