Read that he was making around 476,000 at K St. That's pretty good money for a coordinator. Understanding that it was a Power 5 school of course, but not one of the Big Boys. With that said I'm sure he didn't take a pay cut. Yes it's a chance to have his own program, but I'm thinking 600-700,000 guaranteed plus whatever incentives for doing well. I'm almost positive they are not paying him over 750,000.

He could take a pay cut just to get his chance to be a head coach. If he can do well here he could make millions elsewhere.
Kugler took a pay cut to increase salaries for his assistants. He was initially offered $650,000 a year. I don't know but I bet we are paying Dimel around 800k. Senter now has Floyd off the books and can restructure basketball.
I remember Dimel told Steve Kaplowitz the deal was for five years, for what that’s worth.
