The Sun Bowl ratings were up over 30% from last year and were the best of that weekend for bowl games.

No doubt the Sun Bowl's competitive match up benefitted from the slew of lopsided and uninteresting bowl games this year.

Boy, talk about attempting to spin something great into something mediocre! unhorn, we drastically outperformed the UCLA vs Nebraska game for Christ-sakes! It seems that, that alone would keep you from trolling a pretty significant accomplishment for El Paso's venerable Bowl.
