First of all, Biden has been locked away in a basement, much to the happiness of the left, so he can't talk incoherently. Maybe they feel sorry for Biden, I mean I do. He has been hiding from the public eye, yet when the debates start, there will be no hiding. He was also able to hide among the 12 democrats on stage and was limited in his answers. This will not be the case in the near future.
The Republicans should think about sending Trump back to his bunker, for the sake of their own political party.

With the advent of liberation theology many churches were part of those movements, and some still are today. Prior to that it was worker strikes, organized veterans' movements for health care and remuneration, and grass roots protests that forced legislation.

I’ll speak up. I don’t like the rioting, however I do believe it is manifesting from deep systemic issues.
There is a lot of rage, and where I may not understand it all, it is evident to me that just because people are uncomfortable with it and even further, have disdain for such action, it is a call for us to wake the **** up in the broadest sense as a nation, as people.
I don’t condone trashing well meaning people’s businesses, who’ve worked hard to get where they are. I don’t condone violence against innocent people, no matter who the aggressor is and who the recipient is. I’ve seen it from both side of the aisle and I hate the feeling that surfaces when I see it either in person, or on all these videos that are circulating. Man, both sides are equally liable and until that is recognized it will be this back and forth blame game. That isn’t going to get us anywhere. I’m afraid that’s what’s gonna happen for a while, though.

We had a death today of a 45 year old. Same age as me.
The virus is not any less lethal. The death rate is just now being diluted by more positive cases in younger people. Don't let the numbers fool you though. We are in the exact same position we were in 2 months ago, however now you have a higher chance of contracting COVID-19 since its run through more of the population.

The statues specifically is more nuanced. Confederate statues for me are easy, take them down, the Confederacy were traitors who fought to separate themselves from the Country. Others? More complicated, where do you draw the line?
I think a better solution would be plaques, explaining the history protestors feel is left out. Additional statues celebrating ignored people in history.
