I would love for you to be right but I think things are going to be far worse by November.
anyone here actually know anybody personally that has Covid?? The way the media was saying it would be i thought i would know people that had it. I though people would be getting sick left and right.

Don't believe the media all the time. If you watched CNN all the time you would think Biden is going to win all 50 states.
My buddy is an area manager in his field. Covid-19 crippled his northeast office. Two deaths and 5 other employees tested positive. The remaining two employees in that office did not contract the virus.
So out of nine people, 5 people tested positive and 2 died? What line of work is he in? Did your buddy test positive too?
I have a friend who got it...she's one of the most physically-fit people I know, and she was knocked on her ass for nearly a month.
I know of a local (DFW) restaurant that had one employee start feeling sick, got tested, but continued to work while waiting on her results. She came back positive, so the restaurant tested the rest of the employees and *28* of them came back positive.

I know a friend of mine who tested positive and was asymptomatic. I found out through word of mouth. I don't know if there is a procedure that is followed but I'm guessing it all depends if the person tells you.

They actually say Biden is up in the polls right now, but it's not a landslide.
Hillary had a 99% chance to win (based on polls) in 2016 and look what happened.
Personally, I choose to stay away from all cable news and that includes Fox. All of them have surrendered themselves to feeding America fear porn as it sells and gains clicks.

I haven’t had cable in a long time. I’ll pick up a sling subscription during sports months. Other than live sporting events I don’t watch regular tv either. It’s a waste of time. I rather work on my jungle. I have close to an acre of wild land that needs a lot of tlc. I personally gave up searching for the truth. What difference does it make? Half of the nation will always disagree with it.

To answer Fili’s question, yes. My 56 year old uncle tested positive in Juarez. Both my parents had been in recent contact with him. Thankfully, even with the shitty medical care he received, he somehow survived. Both my parents tested negative in El Paso.
Because they make it seem like nobody supports the President and shows the "empty" arena in Tulsa, but they don't state how few people go to Biden rallies.
They had the same problem in 2016. They said Hillary had a 99% chance to win.
The Trump campaign made it seem like 1 million people wanted tickets and over 100,000 were going to show up. What’s the difference? They both sound like Fake News.

That’s how fake news starts. The official CNN poll on the days before the election had Hillary up 46-42. Not exactly winning by 99% If you were easily confused with the the online game that said Hillary would win by 91% maybe you should read the fine print.

Of the million people Trump claimed requested tickets for the rally, only .6% of them showed up for the rally. So either way, exaggerating that a million people requested tix, or that only .6% of that million showed up, isn’t exactly a good look for the Trump campaign.
There is no doubt that image/video of Trump exiting Air Force One is one of exasperation. Then his own admission at the rally that he was only “ok” in regards to his “performance” is not typical Trump. No other way to slice it, Saturday wasn’t good for Trump and his team.
Give it a couple months. Most likely you’ll know a few by then.
At this point the base with the smaller rally crowds is the more intelligent one.

Yes he did say that, and people can sign up for tickets to drive up the numbers. 6,500 people during this time to me is pretty good. How many people do you think Joe would attract at a rally right now?

Assume much? I’d consider myself more of a centrist than a leftist. With that said, most of the last 20-30 years I have leaned slightly more to the left than the right. It may fluctuate a little depending on who is in office, the current overall political landscape, etc. I refuse to claim that I’m this or that. I think for myself, and usually outside the box. Said that many times on here.
It’s quite funny how you skirt the original point someone makes by instantly turning to comparisons. It doesn’t even faze you that Trump bragged that 1,000,000, (ONE MILLION), people requested tickets. A measley 6200 of them actually showed up. Sounds about as off as your coronavirus projections back in March. Cue the: “You want there to be higher numbers so that you can be right”. LOL!!! No, I’m just smarter than you.
Next, comparing Trump, who is the actual president, to a guy who is not yet president, is laughable. First of all, Biden isn’t going to over project his audience by 993,800 people. Second, one would expect that the current president would attract a larger audience than a wanna be president. Just seems logical that would be the case. Almost like, duh!!!
And last, just so you don’t have to assume any longer, I’m not a Biden guy. I’m actually surprised and disappointed that in the near 4 years Trump has been pres, the Dems couldn’t hatch a better plan and come up with someone better suited for the job than Biden. However, with that said, I will be voting for the candidate who has the best chance at taking Trump down. It appears that will be Biden. So, yeah, he’ll get my vote. Just because he is the lesser of two evils.

To answer your question, I don’t know. I think it’s anybody’s race to win. I do think Trump is digging himself a deeper and deeper hole that he’ll have to climb out of to win.
