What a shit call on Z. That was a 50/50 ball. They get the foul and the immediate 3. ****!!
We keep ourselves in games with out intensity and hustle. But sloppy plays like that last break kill us constantly. We don't have the talent to afford such mental mistakes
Anyway, Lederrius Brewer would be 26 or 27 years old, he was born in 1997 don't know the month or day.
Lemus is super frustrating. He plays like he is still in JC...horrible defense and no ball value on offense. It's a recipe for disaster at this level.
And he's the younger brother....
Missed free throws (5 including 2 front ends of the 1 and 1) and piss poor 3-point shooting all season long, at least we're consistent.

I'm tired of hearing how much we "hustle". Who cares if we can't score. Everybody is SUPPOSED to hustle. The natty Baylor team would hustle this team the f@#$ out the gym.

IIRC, some fans were talking about how “good” those teams were too.
I found it pretty obvious early on the team wasn't very good. Lacked talent but did play with heart. Good defense, but the FT and jump shooting was awful.
Unfortunately the team hasn't improved... they reached their ceiling in December (before the 2nd nmsu game).
And Bronzeing lost to NMSU’s worst team since 2004-05, which was Lou Henson’s last season.
Which is the worst feeling a fan can have (I feel the same way).
Golding gets one more season to turn it around or he has to go. Bring in someone that can handle this new college basketball landscape.
It’s sad, I didn’t even want to make the effort to go to the game or turn on the the tv to see them. Just can’t handle the terrible offense and FT shooting. I sure hope this isn’t the best that Golding can do. If he can’t recruit some basketball players then he needs to get canned.

On another note why didn’t d—ba-s Senter run a chill game special. No heat in the Don, fans bring your passion for 5 dollars and get some body heat in the building. Maybe 2 dollars watching this offense.

According to the schedule on the UTEP website, last night was “Game Of Thrones Night”. Though there was zero pre-game mention of it anywhere. Someone who attended would have to comment if they did anything for it.
They just don’t care. They just want to steal your money.
They did the Game of thrones winter is coming edition. That’s why it was so cold in the Don.
Recruiting is the big question, and I think many of us saw this coming last year based on Golding's late recruiting class. While he was able to bring in some good players on visits, he wasn't able to seal the deal. I look at Duquesne, which was able to grab a couple of Golding's targets, and that program has seen a huge turnaround. I think we will have a pretty good idea early on based on Golding's recruiting in the next cycle if he has a legitimate chance to turn things around. At this point, I see maybe four or five guys on this year's team that I could see helping turn things around. Bottom line, is Golding has a big challenge in front of him.

Bob Stull made it a one sport facility 🏐 about 20 years ago and only upgraded the floor to accommodate volleyball, removed seating as well. Senter has not done much either to make it look like it's 2023 instead of 1973.
