If Boum wasn't struggling offensively again tonight we would have a comfortable lead right now.
Agree. Somebody will have to step up offensively. Bieniemy can’t do it alone.
Yep, two bad turnovers. That UNT defense is really good though. Need someone else to score other than Bieniemy. No balance offensively.
Nice run by the Miners. It started with some solid defense and taking care of the ball.

Are you watching the game? We’ve had 7-8 unforced turnovers. Nothing to attribute to their defense on most of our give aways.
We are just not valuing each possession.
Good defensive 1st half by the Miners. Can't afford to turn the ball over like that in the 2nd half.
Boum needs to pass better in the paint. It would open up drives so much more.

What I can’t get is how our guards don’t know how to set up the pass to the big man? Boum looks to shoot first but his big man passes in the paint are sloppy.
We were held to 33 points last year in the first game at Denton. I wonder what could be the difference 🤔 😏
Yep. He took a shot in the lane and basically had to contort sideways. Had Onyema wide open with an empty lane. Took the shot instead of making the easy dump pass.
I had the privilege of being coached off season many moons ago by pro and college coaches and they would tell me that you have too tell your guards where to put that ball in your hands or to have them lob you the ball while you used your fanny to hold ground.
On Saterfield, a guy who can't get his own shot is the easiest to guard at this level.

Agnew has been crap with the ball in his hands. Has at least 3 turnovers.
Agnew is a disaster against the pressure defense. He's unplayable against this type of team.
He is trying to force his drive and loses it. Take what they give you.
Another thing that would help Saterfield would be a good scorer in the paint. Even at his best Tydus is not a guy that would ever attract the double teams that would help Saterfield to get open.

Absolutely. There is no need for Saterfield's defender to come off of him. A catch and shoot player can't score if he never catches the ball.
