I’m very superstitious. I’m gonna keep picking against them here and on the cusa board.
Right now I'm trying to guess whether I'm about to attack a yellowjacket nest or a wasp nest under one of the eaves in my house. Guess it doesn't matter because the means are the same. I likewise don't know how to attack the Southern Miss game, so I'll just guess with my wishful thinking taking priority over logistical thinking.

USM is all offense and so far UTEP is mostly defense. Classic match up?
USM lost at home by 1 point to a LT team missing 30 players due to covid.
UTEP lost on the road by 4 to a LT team missing 2 OL starters while UTEP was still missing a starting LB and FB and committing almost 100 yards in penalties in the 1st half.
UTEP will likely clean up the penalties to a pre LT level and that will create more scoring opportunities.

Hankins should be running all over their arsses then. Let's see how many carries he gets.
Hankins did have more carries than Fields vs LT but averaged less yards per carry.
They allowed Tulane 424 yards and Louisiana Tech who's struggled running the ball, the most all year. I'd like to see 230+ rushing and 200+ passing
I would prefer to see 500 yards rushing and 500 yards passing.

I’ve never heard of an interim coach leaving to become the interim coach of another team in the middle of the season.
I hope this game is rescheduled. USM might be a mess by then.
