Nah, just kidding. I've stated that receiver was the position where the Miners really seemed to be lacking last year, so I'm happy to hear that the team is getting someone who can step in and contribute immediately at that position.
The receivers will be much better this year. Batson, White, juniel and Golden all stood out in spring practice. We are much deeper at reciever than most believe. We will have a much better passing game this year. Kugler knew he had to develop more deep threats and he has. Its hard to reign in expectations with this team. I cant wait for September.
Golden was out all spring. The stand outs were Walker, Batson and White. Juniel had flashes but was limited because of knowledge of the offense.
Serious help? I get the moniker, but I'm wondering how much of spring practice you saw. The three I mentioned earlier stood out all spring. The WR and RB position going into the fall, offensively, is probably the least of their concerns.
I think Juniel will develop into a lethal slot reciever reciever. With his speed he's a matchup nightmare in the slot.
Totally agree. He's shifty and has quick feet. Given the WR/Slot weapons they have now, plus, dare I say, a QB that they feel comfortable throwing the ball, we should see an offense with more balance. However, old habits die hard, so that's a we'll see.
