UTEP Hockey GoFundMe To Fund Playoff Trip

The team recently started a GoFundMe page asking for donations so they can attend the Texas Collegiate Hockey Conferenceplayoffs in Austin. The Miners won the conference championship last year but needs about $6,000 to get to the playoffs this year.

Kevin Duncan, one of UTEP’s hockey players, said the team is growing in popularity but they still need help getting to the playoffs. He said, “This is our third year here and we're really trying to fundraise money, go to the playoffs and wining that banner for El Paso would mean a lot to us."

“This fundraising money will go to our playoff fees so we can compete in the TCHC playoffs next week. Getting to playoffs will mean the world to our team, so please help us reach our goal! Thank you!”
