I was at that game (lived in San Diego at the time) and did not go home happy. I was much happier earlier that year watching the basketball team beat the Azteca in the San Diego Sports Arena. That was the team that went on to beat Kansas to reach the Sweet 16.
BTW, I never heard that about Faulk. I always liked the guy.

Faulk was at the Michael Jordan celebrity golf tournament in Las Vegas. A guy I know was a huge fan of his. He graduated from SDSU as well. He asked to be paired with him. Anytime he spoke to Faulk, Faulk would not answer him, and instead would whisper to his caddie which then spoke to him.
This went on all day, even when he was standing right next to him. Then Faulk missed an easy putt and he made everyone wait 15 minutes for him, while he practiced putting. Faulk knew that he was a big fan, big donor, and contributed a ton of money to the charity, yet chose to treat him like trash.
This story is also not an anomaly. I heard by many that he was this way. The poor guy said he was one of the worst people he had ever met. He was also the same way to most around him when he on the NFL channel. He treated the help the same way Ellen did, like lowly servants.
