UTEP's MBB "secret" scrimmages

I did not see this posted here so I'm bringing it from a post by JCMiner on the C-USA board. Lots of college teams have scrimmages scheduled and UTEP has 2. I wonder if we can get some info from them on how our team looks. These are good teams to play against.

UTEP – 10/20 at Grand Canyon; 11/1 at TEXAS TECH

BTW, I asked Jim Senter about this whole mysterious thing and agrees that it's crazy and he has no clue what the NCAA is trying to accomplish. Says the schools are not allowed to promote the scrimmages.????

Scrimmages happen all the time its no secret. Everyone scrimmages its part of all sports. I remember a former utep player telling me they would scrimmage against UTSA before they were in C-USA.
