I think that was the difference in the game, dirty birds were sloppier than we were. Also, we shot decent from 3.
He got in the game in the 2nd half, at least some. Maybe his knee started bothering him. Maybe it was his defense. He was slow-ish laterally…I’m sure because of the knee. I don’t know though.
Hopefully that free throw performance gives the guys confidence. Coaches say that free throw shooting is mostly mental.
This is his second hiatus…for “personal” reasons. No way he’s here next year.

My daughter has a basketball game 1 hr after UTEP's tip off so I am afraid it will be a no from me.
Jcorona and I will be at Twin Peaks for a couple brewskis after the game. Feel free to drop by. We should be identifiable with some UTEP garb on, although it can be difficult to tell with UTSA having roughly the same colors.
I am thinking about it, tickets are cheap, been so frustrated with UTEP Athletics that my interest is super low right now. BUT....maybe Senter will be there and I can kindly ask that SOB to unblock me on Twitter.

Actually, to be fair, he has always thanked me for my opinions, which have been nothing less than harsh criticisms directed at him as an AD. I know he reads the emails because he answers point by point usually.
Not that I’m sticking up for the guy. I can’t stand him as an athletic director. Too bad he’s not as upstanding an AD as he seems to be as a human being.
That’s cool that he listens and says thanks. Gotta respect him for that. Stull would never do something like that.
