calm down. I don't think anyone wants to actually beat your ass down. I mess with you and auto boy because you guys get annoying a lot of the times, and you guys need to be called out for it, but I really don't want to beat your ass down (I will if I have to, though). I do think the two of you try to bring the mood down and if you guys would meet with people from this board you would change your tune. I think the same, that if you actually spent time with me, you would see that I am actually a fan. I am just not a cheerleader for a team who continuously comes up short, while others with less, don’t. However, I have no interest in meeting you.

It’s not like UTEP is beating Top 25 teams, is competitive in conference, etc. When they are, you wouldn’t see “negative” posts.

I don’t fully buy that. You are on a forum, sharing opinions, thoughts, perspective. If you didn’t care, you’d probably just keep everything to yourself. You want to be heard. You’re not just throwing your voice out into a void. Perhaps your aim is to be perceived as a shit stirrer, which isn’t automatically a bad thing.

I prefer engaging in intelligent debate. I am only stirring shit because that’s what UTEP puts out. If they’re not losing on the field/court, they’re screwing the fans over with prices increases. As I have said before, if UTEP were a winning, fan friendly program, my posts would be different.

Not true. People who just lost their jobs don't qualify and can't afford COBRA. If someone has a smartphone do you automatically think of them as wealthy? If the have a running vehicle do they not fall under being "poor" category? Just curious about what you consider poor.

People who just lost their jobs and getting COBRA offers might be poor, maybe not.

A smartphone really? Those are a dime a dozen. I consider “poor” being barely able to feed yourself or family and having extreme bad luck or continuous bad choices. Along with living in poor conditions.

If you live beyond your means, you can still be “poor”, but I do not consider that being poor. Getting the new iPhone every year and having a $600 car payment, but barely scraping by every month is not considered poor to me. That’s just being a dumbass.

Nope. I only have to deal with my own children. Teachers and parents are dealing with something new. I feel we need to work as a team. The teachers arent asking for this.
