Exactly. Kill is 5-1 in CUSA. It took Dimel 4 full years before he won 5 conference games. By then his record in conference was 5-23. Why is NMSU and Kill overachieving? Don’t they know it takes years and years of losing before we see minimal changes in this part of the country?

Kill seems to be doing ok in year 2 and that school 8s even harder to recruit to as people still need to fly into our airport when they visit

Honestly I think he’s maximizing what’s there more than recruiting in talent.

Kill has the talent to run well designed plays with misdirection & fakes with a QB that came out of the same JC as Hardison, NMSU was very successful against the Miners as was NU, evidently a few others. The UTEP Defense practices against a basic high school offense designed to bend but mostly breaks. It's hard to recruit when coaching sucks.
