Great win and showcase for UH! Anyone remember when UTEP played it's 1st C-USA game in 2005? Price's 2nd year, Houston came to town with Art Briles the coach and UTEP won in OT with 45k fans rockin the Sun Bowl stadium. Seems like a century ago and the programs have gone in opposite directions since then.

Congrats to the Coogs! I'm jealous as hell.

That was my favorite stat of the night...along with holding Lamar Jackson to 33 yards on the ground and sacking him 11 times...ELEVEN times!!!

But I digress, this is a Miner forum after all. I'm just so damn happy for my son and his teammates.

Electric atmosphere, huge TV ratings. UH finally got healthy at the wrong time (for Louisville), Cards was stunned literally from the opening kickoff when kid fumbled after having his head taken off. Eleven sacks is insane - defensive game plan just let it rip. Ed Oliver is the best true freshman in college football.
