Guys want to compete and I’m sure I can find guys who play hard, I will always sign a 5-11 145 pound kid who tries hard vs a guy who scored 18 points a game at a mid-major. I’ll play a walk-on over a scholarship guy anytime, I’ve done it and I’ll do it again.

One thing I saw was Nelson stares down his receiver. All the qb’s looked improved. Offensive ran more passes over the middle.
I know a few of the refs, commented about how hard they were hitting.
