Sorry if this duplicated but phone issues —- in my opinion and I have followed Utep sports since 1985 — to me this has been the worst time to be a miner fan —- we aren’t relevant in ANYTHING — we don’t have a good conference , lost fan support, football is stuck in neutral, been left behind time and time again —- even this board is dead half the time —- I can’t think of a more depressing time to be a miner fan at least for me —- is there any hope on the horizon ?

I mean we don’t really even have any cool miner gear — at least none that I have seen

for those that live in El Paso, what gyms do you go to?

When i was in El Paso i use to go to EP Fitness and YMCA,
and looking at google maps, Kinective Fitness Club looks nice.

I really wish El Paso had a Lifetime Fitness.

Couldn't help notice how nice and professional DePaul's unis were compared to ours. We looked like we were wearing our practice unis. You wouldn't even know who they were just by looking at them. I think having the TWC unis at home is fine but not on national TV. That's time to promote the programs. Is it me?

My tongues speaking friend 2Step got me thinking with his recent post about how people at his church and elsewhere have visceral feeling about UTEP so I thought I'd ask where 'diggers sit on the subject.

NMSU goes for a 6th win. The NCAA is reportedly hearing an appeal to allow bowl eligibility with only 4 FBS wins since San Jose St. cancelled their earlier game. Adam Rittenberg thinks they should go bowling.

Lets talk about it. This guy is my vote.

Tomorrow I'm expecting to get the first peak at "Dos Anjos". As miserable as I know we all feel after Saturday night; I'm hoping his presence will bring at least some glimmer of hope for the future. If Frazier gets back to his previous self along with some other maybe's, who knows?

Missed the first game and from what I was told the both teams appeared off their games. Wednesday's game might be a bit different as both teams have had a few more games to get adjusted. Going to be a contrast in style as I doubt our offensive ability and I have equal doubt in NMSU defense. Both have deep benches and give the intangibles to the Miners after watching them grit out 3 wins over quality/average competition. I think it's going to be a pretty tough game and give us a more on the assessment of this years team.

Why didn’t they hire a guy who had been an assistant coach for 15 years after going 8-26 at his previous job? Must have a horrible AD over there.
