If UTEP starts the season at 2-1 after beating both Rice and Arizona, I would predict they will have substantially more than 3 wins. I would be very happy to see the Miners at 2-1 and would expect a winning season if that happens.

I think that's how USA Today has it also. Since they have NMSU winning only one game and it's a conference game.

My guess is 4 games, maybe 5 if we're lucky. I would be very shocked if we made a bowl game this year.

Arizona is projected to be one of the worst teams in the Pac 12. It obviously won't be an easy game to win, but UTEP has a realistic chance to win.
