I would like for the ncaa to adapt a rule that a team must finish at least .500 in conference to get an at large bid.
Here's the opposite side of the argument:
It will be televised on Bein Sport (In 915, Spectrum cable ch. 417).
Ok, how about teams can’t be more than two games under .500 in conference play?
UNT was definitely a head scratcher this season. It was rough being a UTEP fan the season, but being a UNT fan was probably worse. They went from being #1 in CUSA to being terrible and 0-7 in their final 7 games.
I’d say the “right” team made their way into the tourney based on total body of work. WKU could probably beat a lot of teams in the tourney but were so inconsistent this year. Coming at it from a fellow-conference-mate point of view, I’d prefer to see ODU get a shot.
Absolutely hate NMSU, but they are going to be a tough out for just about anyone. The late addition of Trevelin Queen has made them even deeper. I wouldn't be shocked to see them win a couple of games. They nearly beat Kansas on the road earlier, so a rematch in the second round would be interesting. Of course, I will be pulling for Auburn in the first game.
