But he was right to turn it down. Sounds like the Hawaii AD offered the job in such a way that he knew Jones would turn it down. Two years plus telling him who to hire as assistants. Recruits not likely to go if the new coach has a 2 year contract.
I can’t laugh enough at the ridiculousness of it all. As a kid, to have the gall to request that of your future coach just screams entitlement, imo.
I hope the kid decommits.😂
