......UTEP on the other hand now runs a clean, accountable program for the most part but NMSU and UNT are the only teams they beat up on consistently. That doesn't win fans in FBS. As Metallica has famously coined off their "Black" album, "Sad but true".

With that being said, it looks like OU has been drooling and hankering for the Switzer days that kept the OU program lawyers constantly busy and the 2000 champs and fans think that 2000 glory year was as far back as prohibition. (They beat UTEP that year by the way when Gary Nord returned to his old stomping grounds where he once roamed the sidelines under Schnellenberger)

"Oklahoma football player Will Sunderland is in more hot water than initially imagined.

Earlier this month, Sunderland was arrested for selling stolen property. He was then suspended indefinitely by Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley. Sunderland was initially hit with a charge of concealing stolen property, though it was not believed he stole the property himself."

Las Vegas took off one hundredth of a percent. "You take them points!". A bookie, Jimmy "Baby legs" Dumplings said to "put some money on UTEP if OU gets more starters in trouble. But OU should still easily win by 3 TD's. UTEP will get some scrub TD's when OU has the walk on's in by the fourth"

Wasn't Nord an assistant under Schnellenberger over at Louisville?
