Once again....why does the issue creep up this late in the game? Where has everyone been all these weeks? Why are we always dealing with "high drama"?
No shit. The kid travels across the pond to come play bb. He has been committed since last April(?) You would think there would be guaranteed eligibility for a foreign player before uprooting and adjusting to a whole new way of life. It would be a damn travesty for this kid not to be able to play because of some oversight. I hope this is an easy resolution for McSwiggan's sake. Before feathers are ruffled, just notice that I didn't blame anyone in particular. I don't know who this falls on, whether it be UTEP, its compliance office, or the NCAA, but the kid deserves better.
And a former UTEP recruit is fighting his own battles to become eligible. I guess we should be glad we didn't land him.

This is a sad story. The NCAA borders on criminal activity at times. College athletics should part ways with this 3rd party "non-profit" organization.
