Miner Volleyball Team wins first - and second - game in NIVC

The Miner Volleyball Team beat Tulsa last night in the NIVC (apparently volleyball's equivalent to to NIT) to win their first ever post season. They play Colorado State tonight. Congrats!

I didn't see the first set, which the Miners won, due to the Men's Basketball game, but thought the host Rams had taken back all of the momentum with a dominating 25-13 second set. But our ladies were tough, winning the third set 25-18 and the fourth 25-19. Great match for Miner Volleyball!

Not gonna lie I'm a bit envious of that crowd and how loud it can get in there. I wasn't fortunate enough to ever experience a game at Memorial but it should be something UTEP should consider. At least against the D2 or lower level D1 teams.
