Most inept football/b-ball programs in the country

Serious question, is UTEP the worst D1 program when you combine both programs ? I can’t think of any school in the country that has a more pathetic combo.. please tell me I am wrong!!!

Football — obviously yes.

Basketball— no.

Kappy said on his show yesterday that our Basketball team never even cracked the top 200 in the RPI last year, which makes sense due to most of our wins not coming until later in conference play against low RPI teams. And now Football is dead last this year. For calender year 2017, I think a strong case can be made that we are the worst.

As a combo pack, if we aren't the worst, there certainly are not many programs below us, at the moment.

UTEP is one of the most inept athletic programs in the country right now. It goes far beyond just football and basketball. And to top it off, UTEP is looking to hire from within for our next AD.
